Culture & Mass Media unite people and open up ways of communication among them. The People of Greece & China share a common destiny: they have inherited a rich cultural past from a history that goes back thousands of years & facilitates not only the creation of a bridge between the two countries but also develops furthermore any other relations.

Greece’s diplomatic relations with China date back to June 5, 1972. Since that time, the bilateral relations have been developing smoothly. With the new century the relationship turned to accelerating rhythms translated to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Relationship, which is extended with every visit of a Greek or Chinese official to our countries. As a result, the exchange of information between the two partners strengthened the Mass Media communication, demolished the walls of distance & indifference, established a mechanism for exchange & cooperation projects in the field of mass media, created an interexchange program for journalist’s visits every year, encouraged a wider cover of bilateral political, economic, cultural news and other events in their respective mass media, followed by the regularly exchange of periodicals, books, audio video products & other publications, including booklets which help educate the younger generation  and the  disabled people.

The creative enhancement of bilateral relations creates a broader field for the two countries’ mass media and, the Press & Communication Office of the Embassy of Greece in Beijing is always in your disposition to facilitate Mass Media and to work on the field of communication.
