PM Antonis Samaras hailed as a "vote of confidence" the agreement signed on March 1 amongst American IT firm Hewlett-Packard (HP), Chinese Cosco and Greek Railways TrainOse, involving the use of Cosco's cargo terminal at the port of Piraeus as a distibution hub for HP products in Central Europe, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and the Eastern Mediterranean.

Visiting China’s Agriculture undersecretary, Yu Xinrong, met on Friday with Agricultural Development Minister Athanasios Tsaftaris and alternate minister Maximos Harakopoulos, with their discussion focusing on the development of Greece-China relations in the rural sector, and boosting exports of Greek rural products.

XRTC Business Consultants Shipping Finance Consultant of the China Development Bank Corporation, announces the signing of the Export Buyer Credit Syndicated facility between China Development Bank and Dryships that took place on February 13th 2012 in Ningxia Province capital, Yinchuan.
The facility is part of the $5 bln Sino-Greek Shipping Finance Special Scheme that was announced by the Chinese Prime Minister Mr. Wen Jiabao during his visit in Greece in October 2010.

The Minister of education, Anna Diamantopoulou, and the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China, Du Qiwen, were to sign today the official contract notice of Research and Technology for the transnational cooperation between Greece and China. The signing will take place at the Ministry, in the presence of the Secretary-General for research and technology, Kostas Kokkinoplitis.
